This policy governs all fee payments, refunds, and returns for Mahar Regiment Public School (MRPS). Fees, once paid, are generally non-refundable unless the specific conditions outlined in this document are met. Parents and guardians are strongly advised to read this policy in full before submitting any payment or registration fee. By completing the registration or admission process, you acknowledge acceptance of this policy.

This policy applies to all financial transactions with Mahar Regiment Public School, including:

Fee Refund Schedule

Refund eligibility is determined by the fee category and the timing of the withdrawal request relative to the academic session:

Return of School Materials

Books, uniforms, stationery, and other materials purchased through the school's uniform/book shop are generally non-returnable once issued. Exceptions:

The Uniform Shop and Book Shop are located on school premises. Visit during school working hours for exchanges.

Withdrawal & Transfer Certificate (TC) Process

Students withdrawing from MRPS must follow this process to obtain a Transfer Certificate and trigger any applicable refund:

Written Withdrawal Application

Submit a written withdrawal application addressed to the Principal, stating the reason for withdrawal and the name of the new school (if transferring).

Clearance of All Dues

All outstanding fee dues, transport charges, library fines, and any other pending payments must be cleared in full.

Return of School Property

All school-issued items โ€” library books, identity card, and any other institutional property โ€” must be returned at the time of withdrawal.

TC Issuance

The Transfer Certificate will be issued within 7 working days of completing Steps 1โ€“3, in compliance with CBSE regulations.

Refund Processing

Any applicable refund (as per Section 2) will be processed within 15 working days of TC issuance, via cash at the school accounts office or reversal to the original payment method.

Online Payment Failures & Disputes

For any issues related to online fee payments โ€” including failed transactions, double charges, or payment confirmation delays:

โœ… Always save or print the payment receipt at the time of every transaction. A valid receipt is mandatory for all refund or dispute requests.

Event & Excursion Fees

Fees collected for school events (Annual Day, sports tournaments, excursions, competitions) are generally non-refundable once arrangements have been confirmed and payments made to vendors or organising bodies.

Special Circumstances

The school management may, at its sole discretion, consider refund requests outside the standard schedule in genuine exceptional circumstances, including:

Such requests must be submitted in writing to the Principal with supporting documentation. The decision of the school management shall be final and binding.
